Porter’s Blog: Porter the Mechanic

I was helping Daddy fixing the engine on our boat.  He asked me to get the little tube and push it onto the line (attach the antifreeze overflow hose).  It was hard because I had to try a couple of times.  I helped Daddy hold the big giant tube and he took this big giant thingamajig (the heat exchanger) and he put it inside the engine.  It was a big job.  I will help Daddy a lot when we are on our sailing trip.  The End.

Porter’s Blog: Porter the Swimmer

I am swimming in Dr. Grogin’s pool because it was my swimming lessons.  I was trying to swim forward and go underwater.  It was fun.  Dr. Grogin said, “Let’s do a race.”  We raced and I won because I was using my big arms and kicking.  Now I am going to be able to swim on my sailing trip.

Porter’s First Blog Post

porter, deep in thought about our sailboat trip

I’m going to be sailing. First you need a lifejacket.  If you fall off the edge of the boat, it makes you float.  Next, you need a sail.  The wind crashes into it and makes the boat go.  You also need a boat.  Finally, you need a propeller and a fender.  The propeller spins around in circles and makes the boat go.  The fender hangs on the side of the boat.  It stops the boats from crashing in to you.

I am excited for this boat trip.
